The Tonight Show with Jay Leno Info Page
No problem. Getting free tickets is easier than you probably think. The Tonight Show with Jay Leno is taped at NBC Studios in "beautiful downtown Burbank" - as Johnny Carson used to say. Burbank is located on the west side of the the San Fernando Valley, just a few miles northeast of Universal Studios Hollywood. The Tonight Show has a long, successful history - and it shows no signs of cooling off. It started its run almost 60 years ago, back in 1954. Steve Allen was the first host. He was succeeded by Jack Paar in 1957, and Johnny Carson took over the reins in 1962. Johnny was the "King of Late Night" for 30 years, until he retired in 1992. Except for a brief replacement run in 2009 by Conan O'Brien, Jay Leno has been the host ever since. Over three million people have sat in the studio audience and enjoyed the show, and you can be a part of that history. Not only do you get to see Jay Leno (and his famous opening monologue), but also his guests, big stars such as Tom Hanks, Brad Pitt, Scarlett Johansson, Adam Sandler, Steve Carrell, Morgan Freeman, Mark Wahlberg, Robert Downey Jr., Charlize Theron, Colin Farrell, Angelina Jolie, Bradley Cooper, Seth Rogen, Samuel L. Jackson, Jennifer Aniston, Matt Damon, Tracy Morgan, Kristen Stewart, Charlie Sheen, The Kardashians, Mila Kunis, Ben Stiller, Jessica Biel, Emma Stone and Joseph Gordon-Levitt.

The location of these street interview segments vary - Jay tapes them live at various spots around L.A., such as Melrose & Gardner in Hollywood, Westwood Village, and the Universal City Walk. You might also spot Jay Leno at some of his favorite L.A. haunts, such as Dan Tana's restaurant (in West Holywood), Pink's Hot Dogs (on La Brea, north of Melrose) and the Comedy & Magic Club in Hermosa Beach. The minimum age for Tonight Show studio audience members is 16.
